B.I.S. Erasmus+ project is based on collaboration between three state high schools: IES Urbi (Basauri / Spain), Liceo Classico Statale Tito Livio (Milano / Italy), and Athena campus Pottelberg (Kortrijk / Belgium) that deal mainly with a pedagogical context of multilingualism and inclusion.

Saying goodbye
Today, the students from IES Urbi BHI and Liceo Tito Livio returned home. Their partners from Athena campus Pottelberg accompanied them to the airport. The departure brought many tears. Working on B.I.S. project in collaborative groups (10/05/2019)
Today, B.I.S. students attended a lesson on artworks related to the myth of Daedalus and Icarus led by Belgian students. Next, they worked in collaborative international groups on the B.I.S. project. Later on, they assessed the project, and, finally, they were awarded the assistance certificates. Bonus finis coronat opus!!!

Working on beauty in Antwerp-Amberes (09/05/2019)

Collaborative workshops (08/05/2019)
Students of the B.I.S. project took part in a workshops about image animation by William Kentridge. Then, as real cooks, they had to make some 'Roman recipes' by Apicius today. In collaborative teams they made some exquisite dishes! If you want to see more photos click here.

Analyzing beauty cannons at Bruges (07/05/2019)
We had a lovely visit to Bruges today. In the morning, we went to the Groeningemuseum. We saw breathtaking paintings of the Flemish Primitives (Van Eyck, Bosch, David, Provoost et cetera). Special attention to 'Narcissus' (Odevaere) and 'Mars surrounded by the Arts and the Sciences), because we need this information to complete our aesthetic guides. Starting day (06/05/2019)
Today B.I.S. project students were welcomed by the principals of Athena Pottelberg and had breakfast at school. After the break, they worked in collaborative international groups and took part in the workshop: "Helen of Troy-A face that launched a thousand ships." In the afternoon, they were involved in a guided visit through the landmarks of Kortrijk: Broel towers, The Grote Mark, the Belfry, the City Hall, the Béguinage site, the Church of Our Lady and Saint-Martin´s Church. 4th of May 2019: arriving in Brussels for the 6th mobility at Athena Pottelberg
Yesterday the 6th mobility started. The students from IES Urbi and Liceo Tito Livio arrived in Kortrijk to spend 8 days with their partners of Athena Pottelberg school in Kortrijk. Follow up visit
Today we received the visit of Octavio Moreno, advisor from the SEPIE, and Conchi Bergera, the responsible for the European Projects in the Basque Country. The meeting was held at IES Urbi BHI and will help us to improve the quality of B.I.S. Erasmus project.

Follow up visit from the SEPIE
Next wednesday, April 10, we are going to receive a follow up visit from the SEPIE. We are very lucky, because this will help us to improve the quality of our Erasmus+ project.
